Deep Forest skyrocketed to fame with their song Sweet Lullaby already in 1992, when the group was founded. Since then, the group has enjoyed popularity all around the world. Deep Forest was the first French group to win a Grammy Award in 1995 for the album “Bohème” in the category of Best World Music Album. The group, founded by composer, musician, and producer Eric Mouquet, is one of the pioneers in electronic and world music.
Deep Forest is a subtle crossbreeding of electronic, ethnic, jazz, classical, and epic sounds and compositions inspired by the world. With 10 million albums sold and over 100 million streams under their belt, Deep Forest is the undisputed electronic music icon.Deep Forest has influenced many EDM artists, from Robert Babicz, Sainte Vie, Fakear, SAMIFATI, Onuka, and more. As a producer and composer, Eric Mouquet has collaborated with Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, Peter Gabriel, Joe Zawinul, Lokua Kanza, Fakear, Blick Bassy, Gaudi, Chitose Hajime, Rahul Sharma, and Sa Ding Ding, to name a few, multiplying experiences and encounters with musicians from all over the world.
